San Diego Indian Dealer, Demo Day

Indian Motorcycles brought their demo day to San Diego Indian last Saturday, December 13. That’s the same dealer that Indian Motorcycles delivered my press bike Scout to. I decided to ride to the dealer and hang out for the demo day.

And what great fun it was!

I parked my Scout right in front of the dealership front door, and so many riders came by to look at it and ask me about it. I invited them to sit on it. There were a couple of people who were very close to buying a Scout, but couldn’t get on the list to demo one. So, when they sat on my Scout, and gave me a chance to go over the bike, I saw them go back into the dealership, and I think I may have helped sell a couple of a bikes!

I reconnected with Caleb, the dealer manager, as well as Geri their marketing director. Jonny, who I met at Lestat’s Bike Night the last week, showed up at my recommendation with some of his friends from San Diego Riders. I met with Charlie, a Palomar Mountain Rider who’s been reading my blog, and my husband Steve got to meet Ray & Michelle who have been reading his blog.

The dealership hired a taco vendor, Taco Man San Diego, to dish out some amazing street tacos, free to everyone.

Born and raised in Southern California, I was the daughter of a 1%er. After a 20-year hiatus raising a daughter of my own and being a suburban homemaker, I got back into the motorcycle culture. 1. Sash, awesome meeting you guys at the demo ride! If I had the budget for two bikes, the Scout would certainly be one of them. It is a truly good looking motorcycle. Take care and Merry Christmas.
